About Us
Supporting Families Through Life's Important Transitions
SageVault helps families make informed decisions about aging, health, and legacy planning—before and after a loss. We provide free educational resources, practical tools for difficult family conversations, and optional professional services to navigate these important life transitions with clarity and confidence.
Our Mission
We exist to help families start sooner, plan smarter, and communicate better about aging, health, and end-of-life wishes. We believe that with the right resources and support, families can navigate these important transitions with less stress, stronger relationships, and greater peace of mind.

Our Story
SageVault was built from real-life experience—because we’ve lived this process ourselves. After losing both in-laws on the same day, our co-founder Tara faced the overwhelming responsibility of managing memory care, funeral arrangements, legal paperwork, and family dynamics with little guidance. RB, having navigated loss in their own family and now supporting aging parents, knows firsthand the emotional and logistical weight these moments carry.
This work isn’t just what we do—it’s what we live. From building our own wills to navigating difficult family conversations, we’ve felt the pressure, uncertainty, and urgency that so many families face. That’s why we’re passionate about helping families start sooner, plan smarter, and communicate better—so they can face life’s hardest moments with less stress, stronger relationships, and greater peace of mind.
SageVault began as a shared mission—born from personal experience and fueled by a commitment to make this journey easier for others. Together, we combined our professional expertise, personal lessons learned, and a heart for helping families find clarity in the chaos. Today, SageVault provides the real-world guidance and support we both wish we’d had.
Whether you’re preparing ahead or navigating the aftermath of loss, SageVault is here to help you protect what matters most—your people, your peace of mind, and your legacy.
